Autodeals,Inc. Security Policy

Autodeals, Inc. (the Company) and its affiliates are committed to protecting the autodeals.com and other Web Services from malicious users. The Company is committed to ensuring your (Customer) access, usage, uptime, reliability, and payment card transaction security. Our policy includes examples of the types of steps and considerations Customers should understand for protecting your on-line experience with the Company, and some of the systems in place to monitor for malicious use. It is our policy to comply with applicable state, and federal laws and industry regulations to secure systems, and data.

USERIDs & Passwords

All Users of the Company systems are required to have a unique USERID and password. USERIDs are required to be six characters or longer. Passwords are required to be a minimum of seven characters long, with one alpha (a-zA-Z) and one numeric (0-9) character minimum. The company recommends that User passwords be changed every 90 days. This can be performed by the User in the MyProfile section.

USERIDs and Passwords should not be shared or used by anyone other than the User to whom they are assigned. Users are accountable for all activity associated with their User ID.

Customer agrees to take all reasonable steps to protect the Service from unauthorized access or use. Upon registering, you will choose a user name and password that will permit you to access the Service. You agree that you will be the sole User of the Service under this Agreement. Your Username/Password are subject to cancellation or suspension by the Company, including upon your misuse of the Username/password in any way. You agree that you will use your best efforts to prevent any third party from obtaining the Username/password, and you will inform the Company immediately of any actual or potential unauthorized access to a Username/password or to the Service.

Attempted Logins

If a User attempts to login more than six times in a 30 minute period, the Account will become disabled for 60 minutes. The USERID will automatically UNLOCK and allow the User to Login with the correct password. This process is to reduce the risk of malicious Users from trying to guess your password. If you forget your password, please use the link on the home page, and a new password will be emailed to your email address within your account.

Notification of Security Breach

Promptly report to the Company any known security breach, including the compromise of a login/password or other fact that may jeopardize the integrity of the Company or Customer Services. Likewise, we will promptly report to the User any known security breach for your protection.
